This site holds 100+ cars in stock. Our second site and offices are located on the old Gables Garage estate across the roundabout, SS6 9EY (opposite the Carpenters Arms pub. This site holds approximately 25-30 cars. Both our sites are located in Rayleigh, Essex. We are just off of the A13/A127 and roughly 5 minutes from the A12. Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we deliver used car models across Essex. To arrange, please contact us using the numbers below. We utilize certified drivers and may even offer same-day delivery! Note: Delivery incurs an additional fee on top of the purchase price.
Where are you based?
We have two nearby locations in Rayleigh, Essex. Our original forecourt, holding over 100 cars, is at the rear of Brookside off London Road, SS6 9ES (behind the carwash and next to Swallow Aquatics). Our second site, on the old Gables Garage estate across the roundabout, SS6 9EY (opposite the Carpenters Arms pub), houses 25-30 cars and our offices. Conveniently located just off the A13/A127 and about 5 minutes from the A12.
Do you accept part exchange?
Yes, we gladly accept part exchange on used car purchases. Simply provide the full registration and mileage of your current car for an approximate valuation. Please note, the final valuation may vary based on the vehicle’s condition upon inspection, so a transparent description helps ensure accuracy. Alternatively, visit us for an in-person quote, which is often more straightforward. If you’re looking to sell your car, we can also provide a purchase quote!
How do I reserve a car and/or book a test drive?
You can call us on the numbers at the bottom of the page and you can place a fully refundable £100 deposit on the vehicle which secures it and takes it off sale until you are ready to come and view the car.
How do I do my tax and logbook?
Once you have purchased your new car, we can put the logbook into your name and address, (this will take approximately 5 days to come through in the post from the DVLA). We can help you organise your road tax if necessary – the main thing you need is the document reference number off of the V5C2. We can also assist with private plate transfers. All of this whilst sitting in the comfort of our office with drinks and refreshments in hand!
How can I pay for my car?
We accept all major debit cards, bank transfer or cash payment.
I want to trade in my car but it's a non-runner?
Yes. Unless stated otherwise, our vehicles generally come with a 3 month engine and gearbox mechanical failure warranty. The basic warranty that you receive free of charge is based on a 50/50 customer contribution. We also provide external warranty packages, currently with the A1 which can be taken out for 6 months, 12 months or 24 months. These warranties are a great insurance product to protect you from any unexpected costs and have a claim limit of £1000 which can be used as many times as needed during the period of the warranty. Please ask in the office or over the phone for any more warranty details, coverage and price lists.
Do you offer drive-away insurance?
Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to offer driveaway insurance – we are more than happy to help set up your policy if required but it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the car is insured when leaving the premises.
